We are excited to announce that CBRS 2019 will be accepting late-breaking
abstracts.  We recognize that the window for submitting regular abstracts this
year was a bit short and/or that some of you may now have additional data to
submit for a poster presentation.  We have space for ~30 more posters.
In an effort to promote the best and most recent scientific advancements in
our fields, we will be opening the abstract submission site immediately for late-
breaking abstract submission. Abstracts for posters will be chosen on a first-come,
first-served basis, with the abstract submission site being open until March 4,
2019.  Please note that these additional abstracts are only for poster
presentation; they will NOT be considered for talks. The format for the online
submission will be the same as it was for the regular abstract submission.
We are excited to be able to offer a limited number of trainee travel awards (free  registration) for CBRS  2019. This has been made possible by generous donations from individuals. We welcome all trainees (undergraduate student, predoctoral student or postdoctoral fellow) to apply!

CBRS: Cooperate and Innovate

Essay by Art Anderson, CBRS Emeritus Member

"CBRS is doing a stellar job of fostering communication across age groups and among those educated in different areas and species (human and non-human) of research.  It reminds me of my Iowa State University veterinary school class, whose motto was “cooperate and graduate”, but in chlamydial research, we “cooperate and innovate.”
