Abstract Submission

The officers of the Chlamydia Basic Research Society, the Program Committee, and local Meeting Organizers are pleased to announce a CALL for ABSTRACTS for the Eighth Biennial Meeting of the Chlamydia Basic Research Society to be held in Charlotte, NC on April 7-10, 2017 (Fri-Mon).  

The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 11:00 pm Eastern time.  This is a firm deadline and we cannot extend it because the program committee will meet shortly afterwards to review the abstracts and consider them for oral presentations or posters.  If you submit an abstract, you will be notified about the decision by mid-December so that you can make your travel and hotel arrangements.  However, submission of an abstract is not a requirement to attend the meeting. 

As in previous meetings, we will make an attempt to include each abstract in the program with the criterion that it addresses a basic science aspect of chlamydiae, i.e. molecular and cell biology, genetics and genomics, structure, pathogenic mechanisms, pathogenesis of disease, host response, immunology, vaccine research and animal models.  Abstracts will not be published, so you are encouraged to present your most current data.
