President: Ken Fields
Dr. Ken Fields is a professor in the department of Micorbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics at the University of Kentucky. In his current work, Dr. Fields focuses on understanding how the chlamydial type III secretion system is employed to manipulate host cell biology. He is a pioneer in the development of genetic tools for Chlamydia.

President-Elect: Isabelle DerréDr. Isabelle Derré is an Associate Professor at the University of Virginia. Dr. Derré investigates how the obligate intracellular bacteria Chlamydia trachomatis manipulates the host and establishes an intracellular niche favorable for bacterial survival and replication, resulting in disease. Dr. Derré lab's projects combine bacterial and host genetics, cell biology, biochemistry, microscopy and in vivo techniques.

Secretary/Treasurer: Christine Suetterlin
Dr. Christine Suetterlin is Professor at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Suetterlin uses her training in cell biology to understand 1) how Chlamydia, from within the inclusion, manipulates host cell organelles, such as ER, Golgi and centrosome, 2) how the host cell alters the infection and 3) how the unique chlamydial developmental cycle is regulated.
